Frank Lloyd Wright and the Rise of Organic Architecture

Frank Lloyd Wright and the Rise of Organic Architecture

1869: legendary American architect Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin.

His philosophy of “Organic Architecture” reshaped 20th century residential design and left a lasting impact on real estate development.

Wright promoted open-floor plans, built-in furniture and low-pitched roofs, while his iconic works, including Fallingwater, became symbols of architectural innovation.

His design ideas also influenced the emergence of the American Ranch style home, which later became one of the most widely replicated residential layouts in modern housing history.
