Deputy Commissioner Kasur, Muhammad Asif Raza, along with MPA Haji Muhammad Naeem Safdar Ansari, visited Naya Bazar in Kasur to review the ongoing beautification project and assess the progress of development works.
During the visit, officials inspected the pace, quality, and different phases of the project. The beautification plan includes road improvement, better sanitation arrangements, uniform design, and measures to enhance the overall urban outlook of the market.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe and maintain high-quality standards to ensure a better environment for citizens.
He stated that upon completion, Naya Bazar will be transformed into a model commercial area, providing improved facilities and boosting business activities in the city.
This initiative is part of the Government of Punjab’s broader vision for urban development and beautification, aimed at upgrading public spaces and improving civic infrastructure.

During the visit, officials inspected development activities, sanitation arrangements, improvement of green areas, and upgradation of facilities within the park. The project aims to make the park safer, more attractive, and more comfortable for citizens, especially women and children.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to expedite the rehabilitation work while maintaining high-quality standards so that improved recreational facilities can be provided to the public at the earliest.
He emphasized that the development of parks plays a vital role in improving the quality of urban life, and the district administration is committed to taking effective measures in this regard.
The project is part of the Government of Punjab’s broader vision for beautification and enhancement of public facilities, aimed at modernizing public spaces.

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (CBD Punjab), in collaboration with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), organized an important pre launch investors’ meeting in connection with the Punjab Investment Summit 2026.
The meeting was held at the CBD Punjab Business Center Lahore, where prominent investors, stakeholders, and representatives from various industries across the country participated.
During the session, the official logo of the Punjab Investment Summit 2026 was also unveiled, while participants were given a detailed briefing on the summit’s objectives and investment opportunities.
On this occasion, CEO CBD Punjab and RUDA, Imran Amin, formally invited investors to participate in the summit. He stated that the Punjab Investment Summit 2026 is a significant step towards positioning the province as a major global investment hub.
He emphasized that the initiative is not limited to the promotion of projects but is aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth and boosting investment in the region.
