The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (CBD Punjab) has officially launched registrations for authorised sales partners for its flagship Celestia IT and Office Tower, following the successful completion of the project's grey structure. The initiative is aimed at expanding the project's market reach while creating new business opportunities for Pakistan’s real estate industry.
CBD Punjab has invited marketing firms, real estate agencies, property consultants, independent sales professionals and channel partners from across the country to join the sales partnership programme. The authority stated that registered partners will play a key role in promoting one of Punjab’s most ambitious commercial developments and connecting investors with premium business opportunities.
Celestia IT and Office Tower is strategically located adjacent to DHA Phase 6 and Phase 7 in Lahore and forms a major component of CBD NSIT City, a modern technology and commercial district being developed to attract local and international investment. Designed as a state of the art IT and business hub, the tower will offer premium office spaces supported by a central HVAC system, a digital façade, advanced building management systems and modern commercial infrastructure tailored to the needs of technology companies and corporate businesses.
According to CBD Punjab, construction has entered the finishing phase, with interior and external works progressing rapidly. The authority believes the project is now well positioned to attract businesses, multinational companies, technology firms and investors seeking high quality office space in one of Lahore’s fastest growing commercial corridors.
CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin said the completion of the grey structure marks an important milestone in the development of Celestia IT and Office Tower. He stated that the project reflects CBD Punjab’s vision of delivering world class commercial infrastructure capable of attracting investment, encouraging innovation and supporting the province’s digital transformation.
He added that the newly launched sales partnership programme provides Pakistan’s leading real estate professionals with an opportunity to participate in a landmark commercial development while generating long term value for investors. He also expressed confidence that the initiative would contribute significantly to the continued growth of NSIT City as a leading technology, innovation and business destination in Pakistan.
CBD Punjab expects the project to strengthen Lahore’s commercial real estate market by providing modern office facilities that meet international standards while supporting economic growth, technology driven businesses and future investment in the province.

On the directions of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Tahir Farooq, the LDA Town Planning Wing launched a large scale operation against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fee defaulters, sealing a total of 191 properties across different areas within the LDA controlled area.
LDA teams carried out operations on Canal Road, Samanabad, Gulshan Ravi, Gulberg, Faisal Town, College Road, various private housing schemes, PCSIR, UET, Gul Daman and Allama Iqbal Town. According to officials, the operation was conducted to curb illegal commercial activities, enforce commercial regulations and recover outstanding dues.
According to details, 59 properties were sealed on Canal Road, Samanabad and Gulshan Ravi over illegal commercial use, while 27 properties were sealed in Gulberg and Faisal Town. Similarly, another 80 properties were sealed on College Road and in private schemes, PCSIR, UET and Gul Daman over illegal commercial use and non payment of commercial fees.
In addition, LDA teams sealed 25 more properties in Allama Iqbal Town during a recovery operation against non payment of dues.
The sealed properties included private schools, colleges, banks, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, food points, estate offices, bakeries, pharmacies, beauty salons, clinics, auto workshops, shops, offices and other commercial establishments.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Chief Town Planner One Asad uz Zaman and Chief Town Planner Two Azhar Ali. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq said that indiscriminate action against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fee defaulter properties will continue, adding that enforcement of building and commercial regulations across the city will be ensured at all costs.

The federal government has formally approved the long awaited dualization of the Multan/Lodhran Road, with construction work scheduled to commence next month in a major infrastructure initiative aimed at improving transportation and economic connectivity in South Punjab.
The approval was granted by Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan following a request by Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. The project, spanning approximately 62 kilometres, carries an estimated cost of Rs 4.6 billion and will be financed through the Road Maintenance Account (RMA).
According to official plans, the dual carriageway is expected to be completed within one year. As part of the project, approximately 44.8 kilometres of the existing road will be elevated to ensure both carriageways maintain a uniform level, enhancing driving conditions, reducing accident risks, and improving traffic flow.
The Multan/Lodhran Road has long remained in poor condition, creating significant challenges for commuters, transport operators, businesses, and residents who rely on the route for daily travel and commercial activities. The deteriorated road surface and heavy traffic congestion have resulted in longer travel times, increased vehicle operating costs, and safety concerns.
Officials believe the dualization project will transform the corridor into a modern and efficient transport route, facilitating smoother movement of passengers and freight while supporting regional economic growth. The upgraded infrastructure is also expected to strengthen connectivity between Multan, Lodhran, and surrounding districts, benefiting trade, agriculture, and logistics.
Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani welcomed the approval, stating that the project fulfills an important commitment made to the people of the region. He expressed confidence that the upgraded highway would provide long-term transportation benefits and significantly improve the quality of life for local communities.
Government departments have already released the required funds, enabling contractors to mobilize machinery and begin construction activities within the coming weeks. Upon completion, the project is expected to reduce travel time, improve road safety, and provide a more reliable transport network for one of South Punjab’s key road corridors.
