About Tharparkar District

Tharparkar District, located in southeastern Sindh, Pakistan, borders India’s Rajasthan region and is headquartered in Mithi city. It comprises several talukas including Mithi, Islamkot, Diplo, Chachro, Dahli, and Nagarparkar. The district is known for its vast Thar Desert landscape, rich cultural heritage, historic Jain temples in Nagarparkar, and diverse communities living in harmony.
