Nankana Sahib District, located in central Punjab, Pakistan, is part of Lahore Division and is internationally known as the birthplace of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, with Nankana Sahib city serving as its headquarters. The district has three tehsils: Nankana Sahib, Sangla Hill, and Shahkot. It is characterized by fertile agricultural lands producing wheat, rice, and sugarcane, along with small-scale industries and a strong rural economy.
