The auction featured two prime assets: the landmark CBD Arena plot in CBD Quaid District and a premium residential plot in NSIT City Residencia-2, CBD NSIT City. The CBD Arena plot, measuring 10 kanals, had a reserve price of PKR 50 million per kanal. Following competitive bidding, the plot was awarded to Playdium at PKR 70.07 million per kanal, resulting in a total transaction value of approximately PKR 700.7 million.
In parallel, the 4.9 kanal NSIT City Residencia-2 plot was successfully acquired by Shoaib Shafiq, at a final price of PKR 590.45 million, underscoring the growing demand for high-quality residential developments within CBD NSIT City.
The auction drew over 50 bids, reflecting strong participation from national investors and signaling continued market confidence in CBD Punjab’s strategic urban development model. The robust competition and premium price realization further demonstrate the increasing value and credibility of CBD Punjab’s portfolio.

DG LDA Tahir Farooq stated that before submitting comments to the court, the concerned Director Law is bound to personally review the case. He directed the Additional DG Headquarters to regularly monitor legal matters and instructed law officers and LDA counsels to improve their liaison with the judiciary.
Tahir Farooq further ordered that pending cases in various courts must be followed up consistently. He emphasised that ensuring legal protection of LDA owned property is the foremost responsibility of law officers. The DG also directed that meetings related to legal cases be held on a regular basis.
The meeting was attended by the Additional DG Headquarters, Additional DG Housing, and the Senior Legal Advisor. Directors Law High Court, Civil Court, and Appellate Court also participated, along with relevant directors from Housing and Town Planning.

Aulakh A total of eight agenda items were presented for approval during the meeting. Among the key matters discussed were proposed amendments to the LDA Private Housing Schemes Rules 2014 and the LDA Land Use Rules 2020. The agenda also included the commercialization of six major roads within LDA-controlled areas and four roads under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL). In addition, a land-use conversion proposal aimed at enhancing revenue generation from LDA properties was presented. Two agenda items related to LDA City were submitted for approval, while the re-planning of the LDA Avenue One Civic Centre was also discussed. Technical members of the Governing Body, Akbar Sheikh and Abdul Hanan, participated in the meeting. The session was attended by Additional Director Generals, the Chief Metropolitan Planner, Chief Town Planners, and the Director C&I. Other participants included the Director Finance, Director Housing, Director LDA Avenue One, Director LDA City, and other concerned LDA officials. Representatives from the Housing Department, Planning & Development (P&D), Local Government, Commissioner’s Office, NESPAK, and the Finance Department were also present. Representatives from the P&D Board and the Housing Department attended as well.
